Jia Song, PhD in Education graduated from The Chinese University ofHong Kong, is post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for International and Comparative Education, Shanghai Normal University. She works at the Department of Teacher Education and Administration, Ministry of Education, China from 2018 to 2019. She has published more than 20 academic papers and review on SSCI journals, Chinese SSCI journals, China Education Daily, China Teachers Paper,etc.. Her research interests are educational policy, higher education, comparative education, education reform of Chinese society,etc..She has joined a number of education research projectsas primary investigators sponsored by General Research Fund of Research Grant Council in Hong Kong,National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science,National Development and Reform Commission, Chinese Ministry of Education,National Development and Reform Commission,China National Commission for UNESCO and local governments. Dr. Song is also invited as editorial board member for journal of Advances in Higher Educationby Universe ScientificPublishing. She is member of numerous academic societies in international and comparative education and higher education, including World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES), Comparative& International Education Society(CIES), British Association for International& Comparative Education(BAICE),Comparative Education Society in Europe (CESE),Comparative Education Society of Hong Kong (CESHK) and European Higher Education Society(EAIR, the original European Association of Institutional Research).
